The Detroit Catholic Central Academic Team has been the model of excellence and consistency in the state of Michigan and on a national level since its founding in 1985.  The team has won 19 Michigan State Championships and 4 National Championships and is the only program in the nation to have qualified and attended every NAQT High School National Championship Tournament and PACE National Scholastic Championship.

State Champions: 1988, 1990, 1991, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015,2016, 2017, 2018

National Champions: 1999 (NAQT), 2001 (NAQT), 2015 (PACE), 2017 (PACE)
