By any objective standard, the 2000 season was a very successful one for the academic team.  While winning five tournament championships, the squad posted an overall record of 151-23.  In April, the team reached the finals to take second place in the State Championship Tournament.  Finally, in June, CC posted a 9-2 record to finish a respectable 9th in the NAQT National Tournament at Georgia Tech.
