Shamrock Quiz Bowl Camp

This summer, Friday, August 2nd  and Saturday, August 3rd, the Detroit Catholic Central Academic Team will be hosting our annual Shamrock Quiz Bowl Camp.

This year’s camp will be offering classes, presentations, and questions in the following areas:

  • Science
  • History
  • Humanities
  • Mythology
  • Religion
  • Geography
  • Quiz Bowl 101
  • Study Skills
  • Coaching Clinic

This year’s camp is two days and will run from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM both days.  Friday will feature classes in all of the above-mentioned subject areas (as taught by former DCC academic team alumni and coaches) and practices and scrimmages.  Saturday will feature additional classes and an individual tournament.  Snacks and drinks will be provided on both days.

The cost of the camp will be $50 and checks can be made out to Catholic Central High School or Catholic Central Academic Team.  We will be taking registration of any student who will be entering 5th thru 12th grades next school year.
